This project, proposed to l’Espace de l’Art Concret, offers a sonic and sensitive discovery of abstract art for the general public. A sensorial walk in the public garden surrounding the art centre will guide visitors towards the discovery of a work by Auguste Herbin. It is an exploration at the heart of Auguste Herbin’s work: synaesthesia, the association of sounds, letters and colours. The installations move from the intimate to the collective, from the immersive/contemplative to the participatory. At the end of the tour, visitors are invited to improvise together on a giant harp, combining a sound with a letter, a shape a letter, a shape and a colour.
