My name is Marie Yevkin\u00e9 Tirard, I am an artist, composer, mediator and graphic designer. If you\u2019re interested to collaborate, have inquiries or just to want to say hi \u2014 please reach out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marked by the disappearance of my Armenian family and the refusal of cultural erasure, I explore fluid ways to remember. My multimedia practice, reminiscent to that of the Armenian nomadic troubadour, combines modal singing, sound, poetic narratives and moving images. I explore mnemonic mediums, incorporating intimate family archives, delicate memories, lullabies and poetry. I strives to reconstruct forgotten listening relationships and fragmented silence\u2014with nature, with ancient traditions\u2014through improvisation and exploratory practice. Music and singing aims to enchant, opening pathways to deep listening through synaesthetic experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
