This participatory sonic and poetical performance is inspired by the surrealist practice of automatic writing. It transcribes into vibrations the emotions felt by visitors.
Visitors to Kunst Meran (IT) choose three words at random, which they have to associate with an object or work. This allows them to see the work differently, and then to write a short poem. These telegrams were exhibited in the museum. The participants were invited to the closing event, where all the poems were remixed and vocally performed. There, I improvised melodies to turn the poems into what could be a collective song, transcribing the emotions felt by the visitors of Kunst Meran.
